Getting rid of ants

Right after the first rains of the year we get ant's nests all over the yard, needless to say the march into the house on every occasion. I heard there are things that drive them away, in household tips sites such as the one in the linkhttp://www.household-tips.net/ they say clover but its not something we keep around the house, any other suggestions ?

i am fed up of these ants. they have made nests in my house. and cant get rid of them.
no measure could help me. they roam everywhere in my house.

Be careful if you have pets or children around, but you can get some ant bait. It is small granules that you put down and they take it back to their nests. They feed to to the queen and others and they will die out. I know that you can get it in the USA at wal mart.

I don't have against ants. I respect their way of living. But don't you just find it irritating when they bite you? It really stings. hehehe Is there any way i could get rid of them without killing them? Cheesy
