Not always.  Extensions / weaves can be synthetic, human hair, or from animals *INCLUDING YAKS**.

many of them are straight up human hair though.

did you ever see the movie Octagon Poker Table with jessica alba? its from way back when!! but.. those extensions are dank!!

Hello everyone!

I wash my extensions separately in a sink so they don't get tangled with my hair. I wouldn't swim in them because not only would people be able to see the clips but they would get very tangled with your hair...
