Summer sun, heat, humidity, and chlorine from the pool can damage your hair’s cuticle and result in dry, drab, split, brittle or frizzy hair and ends.

Having glorious, shiny hair is not only a matter of genetics—it is also a matter of good hair care. During the summer, the heat and rays from the sun can be very damaging, causing hair to become dry, brittle and frizzy.

Summer Hair Care Tips

Summer is as hard on are hair as it is on our skin. I wanted to give a few pointers on summer hair cure and a homemade tricks that you can do at home.

Wear a scarf, hat or cap to protect your hair from the sun but make sure that it’s not so tight that it will restrict circulation in your scalp.
If you know you are going to be in the sun for a long time and if you don’t want to wear anything on your head, use a leave in conditioner with sunscreen in it before you go out.
If you are outside and forgot to put leave in conditioner with sunscreen in your hair, you can put regular sunscreen in your hair, but make sure you rinse it out with a deep cleansing shampoo when you get home.
Limit your use of “hot” items on your hair such as a blow dryers and curling irons.
If you need to use a “hot” item, use a leave in conditioner before using the item on your hair.
Avoid hot water hair wash, as the heat can damage your hair. Use cool water instead.
Staying hydrated is important for healthy hair as well as your overall health, so make sure that you are taking enough water.
Avoid hair products with formaldehyde or alcohol in it which dry out hair, try to use natural products that are gentler on your hair.
Try washing your hair less often, shampooing your hair strips the moisture out of your hair.
Use a conditioner on your hair daily.

I think my wife would be very interested in this hub, as for me, well you need something to work with so not much of an option really. She has seen the Aussie products but never purchased one, that I can remember. She's hair is very curly and gets dry, so she will try a hair masque to keep it soft. Good tips!

The army camaouflage canvas uppers of the mens Farty shoes have a vintage appearance, while four breathable eyelets on the instep reinforce the link between the laid-back style and comfort construction. With elasticated panels on either side of the tongue and heel, the slip-on Farty shoes provide an easy and custom fit. The right shoe has the Hey Dude 8# bottle sitting on the top.

Hi friend

I have found some good informations , It may be good for you too

1. Avoid staying too much time under the direct sun. If you have to though, use various SPF shampoos that will protect the strands at least temporarily.
2. For the very same reason learn to use hats. There are some very trendy and modern hats available nowadays to buy, and you can even start a new trend among your friends with your cool hat. Get some light color ones that don't keep your head too hot under them.
3. Do a few hot towel treatments for your mane by massaging warm oil evenings in it before going to sleep. Also start using leave-in conditioners when you go out in the sun. This will keep your hair protected from getting dry and also frizzy.
4. Avoid using curling irons, flat irons, hot rollers and other very hot appliances, at least during the summer time.
Don't use any hair care products that contain alcohol, paraffin gel, and use only natural products that protect your curls.
5. Make sure to drink lots of water every day to keep yourself hydrated as this not only helps your hair but your entire body as well.
6. Use a deep conditioner after washing your hair.
7. If you are going to the swimming pool during summer, use a swim cap to protect your head from the chlorine and other chemicals that the water contains to keep it clean and disinfected.
8. Don't use very hot water to wash your hair and always use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.
9. Always eat healthy food rich in proteins and fresh fruits and vegetables. They help with a clear skin and healthy mane as well.
